Sea-view Apartment is located at the ground floor with a wonderful sea-view which gave the specific name to the apartment. There is a wonderful ocean-front garden with lawn, harm chairs, sun bed, hammock and a cover patio with table and chairs from where it’s possible to admire the ocean, to have unforgettable breakfast, lunches or dinners open air, from where you can even admire the sea-turtles and sometimes the whales too! It is exposed to the South/South-East and it gets pleasure from a constant breeze.
Nearly every day you can admire the small and fast humming-bird which suck the nectar’s flowers of the surrounding garden. The apartment is constituted by a living area with fully equipped kitchen with dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, cups, a big fridge with freezer, microwave, electric stove with oven, and toaster. There is a double queen sofa-bed which can be used also for 2 more people. The apartment have a 32″ flat screen TV with more than 100 international channels. The comfortable Bamboo bed-room has a double queen bed (with the possibility of adding an extra bed for a 3rd person), bed side tables, a ceiling fan, a wardrobe, safe, window with mosquito screen and an independent spit for a/c.
It’s also available free of charge 2 different fast Internet connection with Optic Fiber with 350 MBps of speed in download and 100 MBps in upload with Ethernet cable, wireless connection (Wi-Fi), water, light, bed linens, bath towels (not for the beach), snorkeling gear and boogie boards. In the garden there is also an outdoor shower with few hoses and next the property a big parking area. We offer our guests a wide selection of water sport equipment for rentals such as Surf, Windsurf, Kite and car rental.
The bathroom very recently renewed has hair dryer, toilette, wash basin and shower. All shutters are with mosquito screen, and curtains; 110/220 volt plugs (American, Canadian, English, Italian, German and French sockets) and electric iron with ironing board are available. There are two ceiling fans (one in the bedroom and another one in the living-kitchen area), electric iron with ironing board, books, an information guide book of the place and Barbados island with excursion leaflets, brochures and maps.

Von dort ist man mit dem Auto in 10min am Oistins Fischmarkt und an diversen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Apartement ist gepflegt, sauber und gut grundausgestattet. Der Wohn- und Küchenbereich und das Bad haben eine offene Bauweise, d.h. es gibt keine verglasten, verschließbaren Fenster. Man hört folglich das Meer und die Natur beim Kochen und Essen. Anfangs mag das komisch wirken, ist jedoch sehr angenehm - gerade auch wenn eine angenehme Brise von draußen rein weht. Im Schlafzimmer ist eine Klimaanlage installiert, die gut funktioniert. Beim Frühstück auf der Terasse kann man einen morgendlichen, ersten Blick auf das Karibische Meer werfen. Alle drei Tage werden die Handtücher gewechelt (sowohl in der Küche als auch im Bad), einmal wöchtentlich wird das Bett frisch bezogen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. [:en]Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Stefano who provided the necessary information. The apartment is very spacious and most importantly-clean! The Wi-Fi was very fast. As it was our fourth week on the island we didn’t rent a car and used the local vans (number 11) to go Oistins – cheap, friendly and convenient, if you don’t mind walking to the bus stop located about 5 minutes from the apartment. There is a great beach bar very close to the apartment (1 minute walking), great music, food and view of the ocean. We welcomed the quiet location of this apartment, after staying in an apartment next to the busy main road in Worthing. All in all, great apartment, great location, lovely island and beaches. [:en]This was our third trip to Barbados in as many years. There is only one place to stay. Blue Ocean Cottage. We love it there or here. Very clean, quiet and comfy.
Stefano and Elisabetta are always helpful. The location is close to Oistens, The Gap, Bridgetowne. a short walk to Surfers pub. We have a car, but you can take a cab pretty much anywhere, for a reasonble fare.Best of both worlds on the island.We will always stay there.

[:en]This is our third time in Barbados and we keep returning to Blue Ocean Cottages. Here are just some of the reasons why you should book your stay here:
1. the owner Stefano is absolutely an amazing host. He will take such good care of you and has all the inside knowledge of island. He has directed us to some of the best surf spots and definitely puts in a lot of heart into taking care of his guests.
2. the location is IDEAL! Quiet, safe ocean-side street with a dead end so there's barely any traffic. Its only 5 minutes to Oistins for shopping, groceries, fish fry, restaurants etc..., A beach-side restaurant/cafe with fabulous food at the end of the street and most of all a gorgeous beach only steps away that never has anyone on it....you can sunbathe, walk, surf, swim, or share a nice glass of wine with your special someone watching the sunset :)
3. the accomodations: you can find nearly anything that will suit your budget or your style here without compromising quality. Each unit is unique and decorated beautifully. THE BEDS ARE SUPER COMFORTABLE! We have such good sleeps here that you will want to take the bed home with you. Each unit we have stayed in is VERY CLEAN. It shows that the place is really well looked after. The cottage is next to the ocean so a beautiful sea breeze comes through which leaves you refreshed and feeling great. There is A/C if you need it but we didn't and it was never stuffy. The gardens around are beautiful, there are tall palm and banana trees, gorgeous flowers and the opportunity to see a lot of nice birds, lizards, geckos, etc. If you have a group its perfect because everyone can be together but have their own apartments without constantly being together sharing kitchens and washrooms etc. Also the showers here are amazing. Spacious and well built!!! Very clean.
4. Overall feel: Staying at a resort has its perks..sure. but the feeling you will get from staying in this gorgeous little piece of paradise without all the numerous people will leave you feeling so rested. Its really the perfect vacation spot that has the feel of home. We always feel rested and relaxed here and most of all always welcomed and appreciated. The friendships we have formed will continue to be one of the many reasons we return to Blue Ocean every year. [:en]From the start of planning and organising our vacation to Barbados, we were very luck to find Stefano!!! This was our first time in Barbados and did not know anyone. Stefano made our 3 week vacation in Barbados stressless, unbelievable and fun for our entire family (5 people). We loved it and plan to return in the future. Stefano's advice helped us find great airfare for our entire family, (which is not easy), shuttle to/from the airport, and where to go for the best beaches for surfing, kitesurfing, snorkelling, etc. Even though he was very busy building a new apartment, he alway made time to stop by to see if we needed anything. Stefano was always open and very willing to help us find what we needed being shopping, buying fish or good places to eat local Bajan food. [:en]The Blue Ocean Cottage was clean, aesthetic and came with everything we needed, including a blender! Stefano was close by to help with whatever we needed. He arranged a shuttle to and from the airport with Mr. Rodney for a very reasonable cost, snorkeling equipment was available on site, and there was a car for us to rent...which is recommended as you'll want to tour the island. He even arranged our drivers licences! The location is quiet and just a few minutes by bike or car from Miami Beach and Oistins...gorgeous and convenient! Definitely check out the Wildlife Reserve at feeding time and be sure to try the marlin and cou-cou...delicious! We hope to visit again next year![:]

[:en]This was our first time on Barbados where we went for surfing. We got referred to Blue Ocean Cottage by our surf instructor and we took it. Best choice. Stefano was super responsive and helpful from the minute. He even helped us finding accommodation for the first night when he was booked. Our flight was delayed and we landed at 5 in the morning, so he stayed awake to make sure we get into the apartment and he arranged transportation from the airport. He checked on us every day and he generously gave us advice on surfing, food, car-rental...everything. Best host ever! This how to do business!
We stayed in the Sea-view apartment, on the first floor. The apartment is very very nice. Looks exactly like on the pictures. It is extremely clean. The house is very cute. If you need two rooms and have money stay in the big apartment on the second floor. That is awesome.
The location was ideal for us. Very quite street, with see view, but everything is in waking distance. Bus stop is about 5 minutes (city is about 15 minutes thrilling bus-ride) most popular kite-surfing site is 6-7 minutes, Surfer's Bar (coolest place!!!!) where you can eat, drink, take yoga classes or just hang out is about 70 meters.
So great management, very nice apartment, great location. We'll come back.

(English) Wonderful Stay, Great Value
[:en]I stayed at this apartment complex for over 1 1/2 months while in Barbados. I've stayed in quite a few places in Barbados' south coast, and this complex is definitely my favorite.
My place had an ocean view, and the complex is SO close to the beach that you get a lovely breeze and hardly ever turn on the air conditioning. There's free wifi, cable, and each place is well-furnished and charming. Beds are comfortable and the place is very well maintained by the Italian couple living there. They're great hosts, very knowledgeable about the local area and about surfing, kiteboarding, and other water sports.
Security is very good at the complex, too, with video cameras. Don't leave anything in your cars or laying about, of course (Barbados is safe, just don't attract crime to you, you know?). The neighborhood is safe as well.
I loved that I could walk to two very different beaches (one perfect for body and kiteboarding, another for swimming!) and could walk to Surfer's Bay Bar, which is the best bar on the whole island.
If you're surfing, many of the surf schools will pick you up there, or you can hike about 1/4-1/2 mile up the road to a bus that'll get you anywhere you need to go on the island. If you're staying a shorter amount of time and want to maximize your trip, consider getting a car while staying there.

Payments
After deciding to proceed with the booking of the selected apartment, you have 3 different types of payment:
- Wire Bank Transfer
Make it to our bank account without charges for our side within a maximum of 4 days after our booking confirmation; any bank charge or exchange fee debited to us from your correspondent banks, will be charged at the arrival. The balance (if the booking is less than 30 days before the arrival) must be paid in US dollars on arrival directly here in Barbados, unless you decide to pay directly the total amount. Please remember to send us a copy of the bank transfer via email as soon as you do it, with also our "ORDER NUMBER" as the motivation.
- Credit Card
We also accept Visa and Master Card, so that you can even pay your booking safely from your home, at an additional cost of 3.5% on the top of the transaction (bank costs for the service).
- Paypal:
We also accept PayPal payments that you can do safely from your home too, at an additional cost of 4% on the total of the transaction (for the service fee).
Security Deposit
The security deposit against loss, damage, or extraordinary cleaning is 200 USD for all Apartments except for Blue Ocean Villa, Cotton Bay, Sea-Winds Apartment # 5 and Beyond Apartment, for which is 400 USD; the security deposit is required upon arrival in cash in US dollars and will be refund at the end of the stay. If at the end of your stay there will be find a damage to the apartment or to its goods, the management reserves the right to claim a compensation to the host and / or withhold the partial or total deposit.
